Community Thrills, Compassionate Mission
Founded by Aubrey Putnam, Cretaceous Crematoriums was born out of a lifelong passion for atmospheric Halloween storytelling, prop fabrication, and a deep-rooted commitment to our community's four-legged shelter pets in Northern Colorado.
What started as an elaborate neighborhood haunt has grown into an annual Northern Colorado Halloween tradition. Today, Cretaceous Crematoriums brings together volunteers, scare actors, builders, and community supporters to create a memorable Halloween experience while raising funds for animals in need.

Tales You May Encounter in Grimmwood
Explore the dark, twisted storybook folklore visitors will encounter throughout the 2026 haunt.
Rumpelstiltskin
A desperate bargain, a room filled with straw and gold, and a mysterious figure whose price may be far greater than expected.
Hansel & Gretel
A deceptively sweet trail leads deeper into the forest, where oversized candy and a familiar cottage hide something far less inviting.
Snow White
Mirror, mirror on the wall… beauty, jealousy, poison, and a story that may not end quite the way you remember.
Little Red Riding Hood
Follow the path through the woods—but keep an eye between the trees. Red isn’t the only one making her way to Grandmother’s house.
